  Kathy Adams Salon was established in 1999 by Adam and Kathy McCaffrey , and is committed to providing the latest styles and professional service in a relaxed and friendly environment. To ensure the best quality service, the staff attends monthly educational meetings to discuss new trends and techniques. The entire staff of KAS participates in photo shoots held at the salon twice a year, and their work has been featured nationally and internationally in hairstyling books and magazines. KAS is also a Great Lengths certified salon and a SO Cap certified salon, providing the latest technology in hair extensions. In addition to the Citysearch award, KAS was named one of the top 200 fastest growing salons in America by Salon Today Magazine for seven consecutive years. Furthermore, KAS is nominated for the Global Salon Award, which recognizes excellence in the salon industry around the world. KAS is an internationally published Redken Elite salon. Through Adam's and Kathy's dedication and commitment to their clients and their staff, they have been named one of America's Top 200 fastest growing salons. Kathy and Adam have over 33 years of combined experience, and continue to pursue the latest techniques in the industry today. Kathy has served on the Board of Directors at Gwinnett Tech since 2000, and volunteer teaches as a way of giving back to the community.

Kathy Adams Salon employs an on-site education director and a Redken educator/certified colorist . KAS is a Redken Elite salon and benefits by receiving education from some of Redken's top educators from around the country. KAS stylists attend monthly in-salon classes, and their new talent receives additional instruction on a monthly basis. It's their commitment to education that has set them apart from other salons. They are continuously updating their techniques and learning new skills. Because of the diversity of educators that Kathy and Adam bring into the salon, their stylists can do anything from classics to the latest trends.
